MC DISTRIBUTION PER PACKAGE
One measurement is made per intervall, and the last image and moisture content distributions per package are reported. The moisture distribution halfway through the process gives an indication of the moisture contents of the wettest and driest boards, i.e. the sapwood and heartwood. With spruce drying, a good strategy is to control the process according to the heartwood moisture content, not the average moisture content, as the sapwood MC tends to catch up and pass the heartwood MC towards the end of the process.

A live stream shows the status inside the kiln. Fallen boards, skew or derailed stacks and malfunctioning equipment can be identified.
